RV parks in Oklahoma City

Can anyone recommend any RV parks in or around Oaklahoma City as well as sites to see?

I would recommend the Twin Fountains RV Park. It is less than five years old, nestled in rolling hills and trees on the NE side of town. The facilities look nice from what I%26#39;ve seen as well.

It is located in the ';Adventure District';, which is home to The National Cowboy %26amp; Western Heritage Museum, The Oklahoma City Zoo, Science Museum Oklahoma, Remington Park Racetrack %26amp; Casino, The National Softball Hall of Fame, The Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, Coles Garden, and the Oklahoma Railroad Museum. I highly recommend the first two on that list, but they are all worthy attractions, especially if they fit your interests. There is also a movie theatre in this district.

It also puts you just 10 minutes from downtown where you%26#39;ll find a wealth of other attractions including the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Oklahoma City National Memorial, the Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge, and the Bricktown entertainment district. Downtown is home to the Ford Center, where the NBA Thunder play.

Also in the vicinity is the State Capitol, the Oklahoma History Center, and Harn Homestead.

Hope that helps and let us know if you have any more questions.

jbrown,

I second the twin fountains advice from the last poster! My mother-in-law came in from California, and loved it. The location is great, and the park was clean, friendly, and nice! Be sure to let us know if you decide to come visit, and add your input. I live in Wichita, but OKC is my second home.

I agree with the other posters...Twin Fountains is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. My wife%26#39;s grandparents stayed there when they were coming through town and we went to visit them there. The entire park was immaculate, well maintained, and very friendly people inside the club house.
