Nice Restaurant

I am flying into Tulsa in early February for my Mother%26#39;s birthday. I need a really nice restuarant to take my mother (more local than an Outback or something like that). Any suggestions?]

Thanks

Nice Restaurant

Although you didn%26#39;t list which part of the city, a price range or type of food, here are some of my favorites (in no particular order) in the mid-town area: Garlic Rose, Tucci%26#39;s, Lucky%26#39;s, Local Table, the Palace. There are a couple of very nice restaurants in the Utica Square shopping center, the names of which are escaping me right now. In addition, there are several newer ';local'; restaurants out in the 101st %26amp; Riverside area. Bon appetit!

Nice Restaurant

The Polo Grill in Utica Square is nice, as is the Chalkboard, in the Ambassador Hotel. Both of these are ';local'; restaurants - not part of any chain - and both will set you back a little more than will an Outback Steakhouse.

Forgot to mention that there are actually several restaurants in Utica Square. The Wild Fork is the other one that we like there. Not as expensive as Polo Grill, but still nice. There are also some chains, like PF Chang, Olive Garden, etc.

You cannot go wrong with the Green Onion. 51st and Yale area. Something on the menu will please everyone. Nice and quiet, great atmosphere.

Give us more information and we can get very specific. Lucky%26#39;s (Matt) and Local Table (Tuck) are great as well. Call ahead and either of those two would customize it however you like.

MgGill%26#39;s is a great steak place. It has two locations. One at Utica Square and then one a bit further south at 61st and Yale.

I agree with the Green Onion wonderful restaurant

Two more that come to mind are Jamils and The Gaucho Brazilian Steak House.
