I%26#39;m new to Texas and wanted to take my husband and two girls to Lake Texoma but I%26#39;m not sure where to stay. Our girls are both under 3 and my husband isn%26#39;t a big sporting guy so we are looking for non-boating, nice walks, beaches and quiet nights. Saw Tanglewood Resort as a safe option but interested in cabins too. What part of the lake would be good? Thank you!
Where to stay in Lake Texoma?
Tanglewood is probably your best bet. There are very few highly developed resort areas on this lake and of the few, Tanglewood is problaby the nicest with many amenities/activities on the same property.
In the same general area as Tanglewood, you will also find http://www.tobincabins.com/index.htm
A little further west is http://www.cedarbayou.com/index.asp

There are a few more cabin rentals available on the OK side of the lake but I presumed you were looking at Texas since you mentioned Tanglewood.
You can also find a few cabin/home rentals on VRBO.com
