I will be traveling east on turner turnpike with a small child that will need to run arouns a bit. What I need to know is there a playgound/rest area after the big Mc D%26#39;s where we could take our ';lunch'; and he could play aa bit? Thanks for your help!

There is a service area (Gasoline) just east of the Bristow exit (196) and a pull-over rest stop about 9 miles past Bristow (just east of where Rte 66 and the pike cross.)
I don%26#39;t believe either has a playground, but the rest stop should be a place your son could run around - assuming it%26#39;s not a hangout for undesireables.
