Soul or (Soulful) House Clubs in OKC

I know this is a long shot, but...

I have scoured the net trying to find a club that plays my kind of music. I%26#39;m visiting family in May, arriving on a Saturday morning, leaving on a Thursday and would really like to hit a club.

I%26#39;m looking for a club that will play Soul music. Not just Motown and Blues. Or one that plays some Soulful House, or even Disco. House/Trance music as a specified Genre is not the one.

Any one have any suggestions?

I have asked around and done some research and if there are any places like you describe they are a well kept secret.

I would suggest the Biting Sow. They have music nightly and the prices are the cheapest in town. Doc and the gang will definately entertain you.

We went to the Biting Sow last weekend for the first time. It was mostly Blues, but we loved it! We will definitely return....Doc Rocked!
