Hello. We are going to stop in OKC for one night on the way to Arkansas. We want to see the Memorial and go to the ballgame. Which hotel would be the most convenient to the field. We are hoping we can just walk to the field or I read something about a water taxi. Thanks for any suggestions.
Hotel with easy access to AT%26amp;T ballpark
Probably the most convenient to the ballpark would be the Residence Inn - it%26#39;s also very close to the other attractions in Bricktown.
Other hotels that would be just a little further walk are:
Courtyard
Rennaissance
Skirvin (Hilton historic hotel)
Sheraton
Colcord (historic hotel)
These are all in the downtown/bricktown area. Of these, I%26#39;m not as sure about the quality of the Sheraton. I%26#39;m from OKC and haven%26#39;t stayed (except in the Residence Inn one time), but our company is downtown so I get to hear about it from coworkers.
Enjoy your time in OKC - we have a lot to do in the bricktown area these days!

The closest are going to be the Residence Inn already mentioned and the brand new Hampton in that abuts and overlooks the ballpark. If you get a south-facing room, you can actually see the field, and as far as walking, it%26#39;s just around the corner.

The water taxi:

is a %26#39;tour%26#39; of the canal. It does pass close to the ballpark, but if you stay in the downtown area at any of the hotels previously mentioned the ballpark (affectionately called ';The Brick'; and still the best minor league park in the USA), the Memorial, The Water Taxi and other downtown attractions will all be within easy walking distance.
If any of your party has problems getting around, there is also a trolley system:

that covers most of the downtown area.
The limitations may be the cost of the rooms depending on your expected budget.
