Ponca City area

We need to attend a dog show in Ponca City around the end of April. We have never been in the area. Any tips on where or where not to stay with 2 golden retrievers? Would be willing to stay within a half an hour or so of town.

Hope this is not too late for replying your message.

As I lived in Ponca city for few years, I would choose ';North 14th Street'; area when I look for a hotel in Ponca city.

I looked up on one of hotel website, it shows ';comfort inn and suits'; where is on North 14th Street, it also accepts dogs for a fee.

Also there is a ';Fairfield inn'; on the North 14th Street, you might like to check it out too.

There are couple pretty good eating places in town:

Head country bbq where is by wal-mart.

Enrique%26#39;s Mexican restaurant by the airport, they have great home made chips, very yummy.
