My husband wants to go to Broken Bow for a weekend to do a little fishing. Where is the best place to stay with a baby? We need a place that has either a swimming pool or swimming beach area for her.

We went to Broken Bow last 4th of July with a 6 year old. The lake was what I consider cold, but there were a few people swimming. Our son did have a good time playing in the sand. There was a pretty nice swimming hole inside Beavers Bend Park. We rented a cabin with a hot tub that was on a covered porch. It turned out that our son loved the hot tub when it was not turned on. He used it for a pool. Hope this helps.

You could try the lodge at Beaver%26#39;s Bend State Park or even one of their cabins. Most of them are in close proximity to a swimming beach. The cabins are closer to the swimming beach on the Mountain Fork River, below the lake, (no current...the river is slightly dammed here) and the lodge is right on the lake. Like a previous poster said, prepare for some cold water.
