Bricktown Hotel & Convention Center

Does anyone know anything about this hotel? Their website makes it sound very nice. I have seen bad and good comments about online. I would appreciate any info.

Bricktown Hotel %26amp; Convention Center

I have not been there for quite awhile, and the last time is was pretty run down. I%26#39;ve read they are doing renovations since I was last there but I have not seen them and can%26#39;t say how they are turning out.

However, the area of town is still a little ';run-down'; and there is a truck stop right across the street from the hotel. Last time I was in the area I still didn%26#39;t notice a whole lot around the hotel.

It%26#39;s convenience to Bricktown is based on the fact you just get on Reno Ave. and head west about a mile. And they do have a shuttle.

However, the more recent reviews have overall been very good, so they may have turned the place around. But that also appears to be based on whether or not you get one of the renovated rooms...

As an OKC Resident, I would not stay there since I would be looking for more amenities and a very nice place to stay if I was looking to get away for a night.

Bricktown Hotel %26amp; Convention Center

I don%26#39;t recommend it. It%26#39;s kind of shady, and the name is very deceptive. It%26#39;s NOT in Bricktown, nor in walking distance of it.

Great Hotel, nothing shady about this place, loved staying there for concerts, they drive you door to door to Cox center... its not in bricktown proper, but if 2 min drive is too far than you definitely have to stay at Renaissance or Hilton. Great prices also....

I live in OK so I have no need to stay there but I think I would try a different hotel if you are looking to stay in Bricktown. There is a beautiful new Residence Inn and also a Hampton Inn is under construction depending on when you are staying.
